Image of Lois Till-TararaLois Till-Tarara, MA, CMPE, oversees the outpatient clinical care services in Olmsted Medical Center's primary care and specialty care departments, regional branch clinics, retail FastCare clinic operations, student healthcare services, and contracted off-site services. She is also very active in several organizational initiatives to improve patient care including streamlining patient flow, increasing use of Health Care Homes, improving centralization and efficiency, and managing chronic diseases. Earlier in her career at Olmsted Medical Center—she joined OMC in 1987—Lois worked in the areas of operations and oversaw OMC's human-resources department.

A Rochester native, Lois studied business at Mankato State University and obtained her master's degree in Management and Health and Human Services Management at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Lois also earned the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation from the American College of Medical Practice Executives. She has served on various community boards, including the Madonna Towers Living Community, the Rochester Family Y, and the Rochester Art Center. She is also a past Rotary Club member.

Lois's desire to create a welcoming environment for OMC patients has inspired her work to bring regional art to the walls of OMC, working with community volunteers and OMC staff to create a program showcasing the important role of locally produced art in comforting and healing patients.
