You are able to make an online reservation (there are a limited number of slots available each hour) for a time that works best for you.

Located at 5067 55th Street NW (one block north of Holy Spirit) in northwest Rochester, OMC's Northwest Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Sundays from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM for non-emergency walk-in care.  It is closed holidays.

Reserve your time for Acute Care Rochester SE Clinic.

Our Rochester Southeast Clinic offers acute care from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday through Friday. It is closed weekends and holidays.

As always, walk-in appointments are available at both locations.

Acute Care or urgent medical conditions treated without an appointment

Need a higher level of care than what's available at OMC's FastCare clinics, but without an appointment? Our Rochester Southeast and Northwest Clinics serve patients of all ages with acute (or urgent) concerns. 

At our walk-in Acute Care you can be seen for:

  • Colds/flu symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, and earache
  • Sprains and strains
  • Fractures
  • Vomiting and diarrhea
  • Back pain
  • Allergies (including red, itchy eyes)/minor allergic reactions
  • Headaches
  • Stomach aches
  • Animal/Insect bites
  • INITIAL Work Comp injuries
  • Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) checks and gynecological problems
  • Acne
  • Cold sores
  • Minor burns and rashes (eczema, poison ivy/oak, athletes foot, sunburn etc.)
  • Skin infections including impetigo and ringworm
  • Mononucleosis (mono)
  • Sinus infections
  • Scrapes, cuts, and lacerations (including stitches)
  • Stitch removal
  • Lab tests for strep, influenza, and mono (extra charges apply)

Lab and Radiology Services

Our Acute Care Clinics do not have CT, MRI, or ultrasound, and cannot run cardiac or chemistry labs. Lab samples are collected on site, but are not necessarily analyzed on site.

  • Routine X-rays
  • Rapid strep test and strep culture
  • Urinalysis and urine culture
  • Rapid influenza test
  • RSV test
  • Pertussis test
  • Wet preps and STD testing
  • Wound cultures
  • Mono Screen
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Routine blood tests (glucose, CBC, etc.)

Instead, visit our hospital's Emergency Department.

  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Signs of a heart attack, such as chest pain
  • Severe burn(s)
  • Head injuries including concussions
  • Severe injury to the neck, trunk, or abdomen
  • Signs of stroke (sudden numbness in arms or legs)
  • Severe shortness of breath
  • Severe/sudden headache with vision changes
  • Anaphylactic allergic reaction
  • Bleeding that will not stop
  • Suspected or confirmed poisoning

If no other clinic location is open or accessible, OMC's hospital emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
