Internal Medicine

Physicians in internal medicine (also called "internists") provide long-term and comprehensive management of both common and complex illnesses.

OMC’s internists are experts in diagnosing and treating chronic medical conditions, and in promoting healthy living and disease prevention.

Although internists may serve as primary care physicians for some patients, they are not family or general physicians. The provide health care only for adults and the elderly.
