Tobacco Cessation

OMC’s tobacco cessation counselors are trained in motivational interviewing and behavioral change.

Personal coaching educates patients in all aspects of tobacco addiction—physical, mental, and social. Coaches assist patients in developing a plan of action to quit tobacco use for life.

Our counselors consider the total patient, including nutrition needs and conditions associated with tobacco use, such as diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary‎ disease (COPD).
