Qualifications:
- Minnesota Registered Nurse license
- 3-5 years previous experience working in a healthcare environment
- Experience or certification in Infection Control preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Computer background in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn additional programs
- Strong organizational skills
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain Infection Control program including surveillance, special projects, and reporting process improvement and consultation
- Participate in and advise in emergency planning and preparation
- Provide continuing education to all levels of staff including ERTKA, infection control, improvement projects, and emergency preparedness
- Maintain Complication Surveillance Program
- Conducts Utilization Review activities at the hospital
- Offers back-up support for Director of Quality Services and Patient Relations, Process Improvement Coordinator, patient inputs, and referrals
- Other duties as apparent or assigned
