Location: Rochester Southeast (Main Clinic)
Department: Laboratory
FTE: .5
Shifts:
- Position works at both Rochester Southeast Clinic and Hospital. Day shifts at the clinic; hospital shifts are days and evenings as well as weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Completion of certified phlebotomy program, medical assistant program, or at least three months experience as phlebotomist
Position Responsibilities:
- Collect and/or process specimens including blood, urine, stool, and throat obtained from patients
- Maintain adequate inventory of routine supplies in area
- Properly mix and label tubes after blood drawing
- Assist with training of new employees
