Description

Dr. Noel R. Peterson Founders Lecture Series

The Dr. Noel R. Peterson Founders Lecture Series is a local forum for healthcare providers and other community members to discuss issues including healthcare reform, bioethics, the impact of philanthropy, and other important issues in healthcare. Prior years’ guests include: Jan Malcolm; Steven Miles, MD; Michael T. Osterholm, PhD, MPH; Daniel Lindh; Gayle Kvenvold; Richard Kyte, PhD; Tom Thibodeau; Val Ulstad, MD; and Peter Ralston.

This is the tenth installment in the Founders Lecture Series, established through an endowment gift from Dr. Noel and Ann Peterson in 2006 and supported by annual gifts from many OMC clinicians, employees, and community supporters.

Lecture Topic for 2016:

The annual free Dr. Noel R. Peterson Founders Lecture Series invites OMC employees and community members on Wednesday, March 30, from 5:30-7:30 PM, to Rochester’s Doubletree Hotel (150 South Broadway).

Marie Dotseth, MHA, executive director for the Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety (MAPS), will present on “Engaging Patients to Improve Safety at Transitions: Lesson from Consumer Research and Pilot Testing.”
