Located immediately above the Loop Restaurant + Bar in the 318 Commons building at 318 First Avenue SW in Rochester, MN., OMC's skyway clinic is home to University of Minnesota—Rochester student health services and offers walk-in, non-emergency healthcare services to the general public. You don’t need an appointment and you don’t need to be an Olmsted Medical Center patient to use the Skyway Clinic—just someone who needs quality care in a hurry.
A Skyway Clinic visit costs $49 and we’ll even bill your insurance. Extra charges apply for vaccinations and lab services. The Skyway Clinic can see patients who are 18 months of age or older. Come to the Skyway Clinic for help with the following:
- Acne
- Allergies
- Bladder/urinary tract infections (females, 12-65 years old)
- Bruises
- Cold sores
- Colds, coughs, and runny noses
- Ear aches and infections
- Flu symptoms
- Insect bites/stings
- Lab tests for strep, influenza, and mono (extra charges apply)
- Minor burns and rashes (eczema, poison ivy/oak, athletes foot, etc.)
- Minor sunburn
- Mononucleosis (mono)
- Pregnancy tests (18 years and older, extra charges apply)
- Sinus infections
- Skin infections including impetigo and ringworm
- Sore throat
- Stitch removal
The Skyway Clinic also does sports physicals. This is a cash service and is not
billable to insurance.
The Skyway Clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 8:00 - 9:00 AM is reserved for UMR students only.
The Skyway Clinic is closed on weekends and holidays. Nearby street and ramp parking is available.
Please note, OMC Skyway Clinic staff must follow closing procedures and complete patient care needs for the day. Therefore, we may not be able to see every patient who arrives after 4:00 PM. If you arrive after 4:00 PM, please ask our staff about other care options, like our FastCare clinics.
