Chief Nursing Officer

The Chief Nursing Officer provides nursing leadership and oversight for patient care services at Olmsted Medical Center. The CNO leads nursing practice and operations with a focus on quality, safety, innovation, and compassionate, patient-centered care This role brings deep clinical and operational expertise to advancing nursing care across the organization.

Katie Snow, MSN, RNKatie Snow, MSN, RN, serves as Chief Nursing Officer at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, MN. In addition to her RN, she holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix.

Katie’s passion for people led her to a career caring for others. Her career in nursing began in 2003, holding roles that included staff nurse in a general surgery/trauma floor, staff nurse in an Emergency department, and with utilization review.

Since joining Olmsted Medical Center in 2014, Katie has served as Emergency department manager and, since 2017, as director of hospital nursing and surgical services. As director, she was responsible for financial accountability, operational excellence and innovation, quality and safety initiatives, development, and growth.
