Meet the HR Recruiting Team
Kim joined Olmsted Medical Center in 2010 as an Executive Assistant in the Administration department. In 2017 she transferred to the Human Resources department and currently provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources as well as the entire department. Kim performs a wide variety of duties within the department but mostly enjoys the interaction with candidates when calling them to schedule an interview.
Kim graduated from the University of North Dakota with an Associate of Arts degree in Executive Secretary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education. Prior to joining Olmsted Medical Center, she worked as a claims adjuster at American Family Insurance for several years.
In Kim's spare time, she enjoys going to her lake home, traveling, watching/attending sporting events, and spending time with family.
Tanya joined the Human Resources team as the Employment Specialist in 2017. The main function of her role is finding talented individuals to model Olmsted Medical Center’s mission, vision, and core values and provide exceptional patient care.
Tanya’s greatest satisfaction in her position is building relationships. The Employment Specialist position has a significant impact on both Olmsted Medical Center and the lives of the people she meets with. Tanya enjoys meeting with people from all walks of life, from different experiences and cultures, and learning what each candidate has to offer.
Tanya graduated Magna Cum Laude from Concordia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a certificate in leadership.
Outside of work, Tanya’s passions include the outdoors, traveling, and family. Much of her time is spent hiking and kayaking. She has lived in Southeast Minnesota most of her life, but also spent a few years living in Alaska.
Deb joined Olmsted Medical Center in 2012 as the Clinician Recruiter. In this role she searches for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and CRNA’s and markets jobs to these clinicians while cultivating the relationships along the way.
Deb truly believes a successful recruit literally changes the lives of those she hires (recruited) as well as those who benefit from the recruitment, most importantly that being the clinician to patient and patient to clinician relationship.
Deb graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato (formerly Mankato State University) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing, Management, Industrial Relations degree and an Economic minor. She has an Associate of Arts degree from Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) (formerly Rochester Community College, RCC).
Outside of work, Deb enjoys traveling, boating, biking, walking, gardening, sports events, and being with family.
Sue has been with OMC for the last 21 years in Human Resources. Working in HR, she is the first person you see as you enter the HR office.
Her duties include contacting new employees once they have been hired to complete all the necessary paperwork and background information. She also is responsible for making sure employees are up-to-date on their licensing and certifications. She does all of the paperwork for students who are doing clinical rotations or shadowing at OMC. She enjoys all the “people” contact she has within her position as an Administrative Assistant. She has a wide variety of duties within the HR department.
