If you or a loved one experiences heart health concerns or has been diagnosed with lung disease, you may benefit from OMC’s cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services, which are certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).


Cardiopulmonary TeamIn the program, you’ll work with a certified team of nurses, exercise physiologists, a registered dietician and other cardiopulmonary specialists to help you manage your lifestyle and behaviors associated with your condition.  Your rehabilitation team may help you with:

•    Aerobic capacity assessments
•    Behavior modification/lifestyle changes
•    Blood pressure control
•    Breathing techniques to strengthen upper respiratory muscles.
•    Exercise prescription guidelines
•    Lipid management
•    Nutrition education
•    Stress management and relaxation techniques
