OMC Student Preceptorship Application

Olmsted Medical Center (OMC) is proud to support the next generation of healthcare professionals through our Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Nurse Practitioner (NP), and Physician Assistant (PA) Student Preceptorship Program.

Program Overview

This program provides CNM, NP, and PA students with hands-on clinical experience under the guidance of experienced OMC providers. Students gain valuable skills in patient care, communication, and clinical decision-making in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Eligibility

To apply, you must:

  • be currently enrolled in an accredited Certified Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant program
  • be in good academic standing with your college or university.

Complete the CNM/NP/PA Student Preceptorship Program Application form below.
You will receive an email once selections are made.

If you have not heard from OMC by the start of the semester before your requested rotation, please contact our Human Resources team at 507.529.6610.

Application Deadlines

Preceptorship semester and application deadline:

January - May deadline: June 1 of the year before you want to do your clinical rotation
August - December deadline: February 1 of the year in which you want to do your clinical rotation

Late applications may not be considered.
