Student Opportunities at OMC

At Olmsted Medical Center (OMC), we’re committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. We offer educational experiences that help students learn from real-world care settings—while ensuring we continue to provide safe, high-quality care for our patients.

Who Can Apply

To qualify for a student opportunity at OMC, you must:

  • be enrolled in an accredited academic program that requires a job shadow, clinical rotation, or internship experience
    • Note: “Career Exploration” courses do not meet this requirement
  • be at least 18 years old
  • provide documentation of required immunizations
  • complete the OMC Student Application.

Please note that student opportunities are unpaid, short-term experiences and depend on the availability of a preceptor.

How to Apply

  1. Review the requirements listed above.
  2. Complete the Student Application.
  3. Submit your documentation as directed on the form.

You will be contacted once your application has been reviewed and a placement opportunity is available.
