Join the OMC Caring Partners Volunteer Program and help support Olmsted Medical Center (OMC) patients, families, and staff. Our volunteers make a real difference every day through care, comfort, and compassion.

Volunteering

What Volunteers Do

Caring Partners Volunteers serve in many ways, including:

  • supporting patients and families: Offer companionship, comfort items, or assistance in patient areas
  • providing spiritual care: Offer ministry to patients, families, and caregivers
  • bringing smiles with Canine Companions: Certified therapy dogs and their handlers visit patients and families
  • helping guests find their way: Greet and guide patients and visitors through OMC’s buildings and services
  • assisting at special events: Help OMC employees and departments during community and fundraising events
  • contributing behind the scenes: Sew items for patient care, serve refreshments, and staff the OMC Gift Shop.
