Eye Care

Your eyes are essential to living a healthy, independent life. At Olmsted Medical Center (OMC), our eye care team is here to protect and improve your vision at every stage. We bring together ophthalmologists, optometrists, and ophthalmic technicians to provide total eye care for patients ages 4 and older.

Our team uses the latest technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent eye conditions—from routine vision exams to advanced surgical procedures.

Prevention and Routine Care

Regular eye exams are the best way to maintain healthy vision and catch problems early. During a routine exam, your provider may check for:

  • vision changes (nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism)
  • early signs of eye disease such as glaucoma, cataracts, or macular degeneration
  • eye complications related to diabetes or other conditions
  • dry eyes or eye irritation.

We also provide prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses.
