Amy received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Teacher Certification from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater in 1986. After teaching art in the schools for 15 years, she became a DONA certified Doula in 2001, and an ICEA certified Childbirth Educator in 2005. Amy has taught various prenatal classes at OMC since 2002 and accepted the position of Prenatal & Family Education Coordinator in June of 2007. Since then, she has implemented the Perinatal Fitness class into the prenatal class program and recently received her CLC Lactation Counselor certification.
Janine received her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Augsburg University. She is a DONA trained Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula and actively serves the Rochester area. She is also a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor and a trained Lamaze Childbirth Educator. She serves on the board of the Southeast Minnesota Childbirth Network and the PAiiR/ECFE Parent Advisory Council. She has been in birth work since 2014 and began teaching at OMC in 2018.
