Why Choose an On-Demand Video Visit?

  • Fast, convenient care: Log in from home or anywhere in Minnesota
  • Extended evening hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00–9:00 PM
  • Short wait times: Most visits start within 5–20 minutes
  • Affordable: Cost is similar to an in-person primary care visit
  • Simple: No appointment needed—just log in and start your visit

Note: On-Demand visits are for non-emergency medical needs only. If you have life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency department.

How On-Demand Works - 3 Easy Steps

  1. Open OMC MyChart. Log in, then select On-Demand from the main menu. Enter your information and symptoms.
  2. Meet with a provider. When it’s your turn, a provider will join the video visit to diagnose and offer treatment.
  3. Receive a care plan. If needed, a prescription will be sent to your preferred pharmacy.

What to Expect

  • Visits last about 15 minutes and are available first come, first served.
  • Wait times typically range from 5–20 minutes.
  • If lab work or other testing is needed, your provider will guide you to complete it at an OMC location.
  • If your provider determines you need in-person or emergency care, there is no charge for the video visit.
