Guidelines for OMC Patients and Visitors

Effective: November 25, 2020

OMC has implemented a no visitor policy. The restrictions are in place to protect the health of patients, visitors, and staff from COVID-19.

The following are exceptions to the no visitor policy:

  • One parent/guardian for pediatric patients preferred, up to two will be allowed.
  • A patient’s caregiver.
  • For the BirthCenter, one support person during the hospital stay.
  • Certified Doulas will be allowed only during birth and delivery.
  • One support person for surgical/procedural patients at the time of drop off and pick up.

For Occupational Health patients:

  • Qualified rehabilitation consultant (QRC) or employer.

Exceptions to the visitor policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Masks are required while in an OMC building. A mask will be provided to those who do not have one.  Everyone will be screened for symptoms and given an OMC sticker to wear while in one of our buildings.
