OMC’s COVID Testing Location and Hours

For the winter months, COVID testing for OMC patients has moved from Graham Park to our FastCare North location at 102 Elton Hills Drive NW, Suite 200.

Updated hours of operation for the COVID-19 Testing Site at FastCare North will be 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. Patients should continue to call the COVID triage line at 507.292.7266 if they are experiencing symptoms. Hours for the triage line will be 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week.

Once patients arrive at the FastCare® North testing location, they should remain in their vehicle and check in for their appointment by phone. The phone number is displayed on a banner across the windows of the building. When it is time to be seen, patients will receive a text message or phone call, and be asked to proceed into the building where the swabbing will take place.

To help reduce the transmission of COVID-19, follow the three Ws: wear a mask, wash your hands, and watch your distance between people.

A recent study led by researchers at Texas A&M University found that not wearing a face mask dramatically increases the risk of being infected by the COVID-19 virus.  From the study: "Our study establishes very clearly that using a face mask is not only useful to prevent infected coughing droplets from reaching uninfected persons, but is also crucial for these uninfected persons to avoid breathing the minute atmospheric particles (aerosols) that infected people emit when talking and that can remain in the atmosphere tens of minutes and can travel tens of feet."
