Gertrude typically sees patients in area nursing homes. She specializes in geriatrics, long term care, palliative care, memory care, dementia, preventative and therapeutic care and shared decision making. The care OMC’s clinicians provide in these settings is important to the residents’ quality of life, the residents’ families, the relationships with the facilities, and keeps residents stable and out of the emergency department and/or acute care department.
