Areas of Interest
As a clinical social worker in Social Services, Tricia Schilling, LICSW, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Tricia provides adult mental health psychotherapy with a specialization in women’s mental health, grief and loss, palliative care, and the challenges associated with aging. She empowers clients through evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Tricia is a member of the following professional organizations: Center to Advance Palliative Care, Minnesota Nursing Home Social Work Association, American Society on Aging, Minnesota Gerontological Society, National Association of Social Work, Minnesota Society of Clinical Social Workers, and LeadingAge Minnesota. She enjoys knowledge sharing about organ, tissue and eye donation, safe transitions of care and advance care planning.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Tricia enjoys watching and playing sports, volunteering with animal rescue organizations, and exploring new foods as a self-described foodie who loves to travel. She is committed to providing safe, inclusive mental health care and supporting high-quality transitions of care. Tricia’s preferred pronouns are she/her/hers.
