Areas of Interest
As a nurse practitioner in Family Medicine, Michael Ronning, APRN, CNP, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. He is an AANP board-certified family nurse practitioner with clinical interests in pediatrics, adolescent medicine, men’s health, HIV primary care, and advancing health equity within the LGBTQ+ community. Michael brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including emergency nursing, critical care transport, and pre-hospital emergency medical services. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University. He is also a nationally registered paramedic, having completed his paramedicine training at Creighton University.
Personal Interests
Outside of his professional life, Michael shares his journey with his husband and two daughters. Together, they enjoy entertaining family and friends, traveling to new destinations, exploring diverse culinary experiences, attending performing arts events, watching IG rugby, and supporting queer culture.
