Mahsa Moghaddam Smoot, MD

Dr. Smoot is a plastic surgeon at the Olmsted Medical Center Hospital. Born in Tehran, Iran, she moved to Rome, Italy, as a young child. In 1991, she moved with her family to the United States. She chose to study medicine because of her love of anatomy and physiology and because of her desire to help others in their time of need. Dr. Smoot moved back to Minnesota in 2013 and practiced in the Twin Cities before joining the team at Olmsted Medical Center. She enjoys working with children and adults alike. She lives locally with her family and is fluent in English, Italian, and Farsi.
