Areas of Interest
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), Beth Scharpman is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Beth has been with OMC since 2015 and specializes in hand therapy, lymphedema treatment, and inpatient surgery recovery. With a passion for the blend of anatomy and education that the field provides, Beth creates a welcoming environment for patients to actively engage in their therapy and to learn about the facets of their recovery. Her patient-centered approach ensures that treatment addresses the function and health of the whole body and is personalized to the needs of each individual. Beth loves her career because, “Occupational therapists are lucky. We get to see real-time results with our patients. They come in, we work on something, and right then and there, they can make a change. That part feels really good.”
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Beth enjoys gardening, coaching her children’s sports, and spending time outdoors being active. She values her role in OMC’s Rehabilitation Services department because of the support of her colleagues and the lasting relationships she builds with her patients.
