As an Obstetrician Gynecologist, Melissa Richards, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Richards has been with OMC since 2017 and supports patients through all stages of their lives for obstetric and gynecologic care. She specializes in abnormal uterine bleeding, postmenopausal bleeding, abnormal pap smear results, and fertility evaluations and management. Dr. Richards enjoys the variety in the care she’s able to provide and is passionate about finding personalized solutions for her patients. She says, My job is making sure that the patients that I’m seeing feel comfortable. I’m here to help and make a plan. The importance of being able to feel connected, trusted, and safe, and that there’s no shame when you come into my office is vitally important. Dr. Richards values her role at OMC because,I have the best colleagues, my patients are amazing, and at the end of the day, I know I’ve done something really good for my community and the people around me.
