Areas of Interest
As an Active Aging Services physician, Lilia Ponton, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Ponton typically sees patients in nursing homes and specializes in geriatrics, long-term care, palliative care, memory care, dementia care, preventive and therapeutic care, and shared decision-making. The care OMC’s clinicians provide in these settings is vital to residents’ quality of life, supports residents’ families, strengthens relationships with care facilities, and helps keep residents stable and out of the emergency department.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Dr. Ponton's personal interests include the quality improvement in Long-Term care and Palliative care. She also enjoys crafts, gardening and cooking. Dr. Ponton is an animal volunteer!
