Make the Most of Your Appointment

A few simple steps can help you get the best care experience possible:

• Call ahead to schedule your appointment — this helps minimize your waiting time.
• Share all topics you’d like to discuss when booking, so we can schedule enough time. If you have multiple concerns and don’t mention them in advance, we may need to set up a follow-up visit.
• Bring a list of your current medications, including herbal and non-prescription supplements. If possible, bring them in their original containers.
• Bring a copy of any advance directives, such as a living will or organ/tissue donation form, so we can add them to your medical record.
• Arrive by your assigned check-in time (a few minutes early is even better).
• Co-pays are due at the time of your visit.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call the department directly. Missed appointments without notice may result in a charge.

What to Know Before Your FastCare® Visit

• You don’t need an appointment, and you don’t need to be an Olmsted Medical Center patient to use FastCare®—just someone who needs quality care in a hurry.
• A FastCare® visit costs $65 and we’ll even bill your insurance. Extra charges apply for vaccinations and lab services.
• FastCare® can see patients who are 12 months of age or older.
• Parking is free. FastCare® is closed on holidays.
• Please note, OMC FastCare® staff must follow closing procedures and complete patient care needs for the day. Therefore, we may not be able to see every patient.
