Scheduling appointments for COVID-19, influenza, and RSV using OMC MyChart

How to get a COVID-19 Test

Patients have the following options for being tested for COVID-19.

  • Call their primary care provider’s office. Patients should call their provider’s office. A nurse will ask a few questions to determine if testing is appropriate and, if so, schedule the test.
  • Visit FastCare®. Patients can visit FastCare® for a standard walk-in appointment with a provider. If the provider determines testing is appropriate, it will be done at that time.

Patients who are only seen in the Asthma & Allergy department or in obstetrics, should call that department to speak with a nurse. The nurse will determine if testing is appropriate and schedule the patient for a test

For patients without a primary care provider, they should contact the messaging center at 507.292.7070.

Influenza

OMC is now offering influenza vaccines. You can schedule an appointment using your OMC MyChart or contact your primary care provider.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

OMC is also now offering the new RSV vaccine for eligible patients 60 years of age and older – patients should talk to their primary care provider to determine eligibility.

COVID -19

Due to the limited supply of the 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine, OMC is providing this vaccine at scheduled provider visits as supply allows.

OMC offers the ability to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 test or COVID-19 vaccine as well at FastCare North, FastCare South, and Acute Care. Please follow the link below that fits the appointment you are looking to schedule.
